Spider Web is a traditional tattoo shop in Berlin-Kreuzberg’s Bergmannkiez. We’re six tattooers with different approaches to the craft. Our work runs from classic flash and small tattoos to larger custom projects and full backs.

Choose something from the walls, bring a reference or talk to us about an idea you’ve had in mind. Book ahead for a larger project or a specific artist. For a smaller, spontaneous tattoo, check our walk-in information before coming by.

TRADITIONAL TATTOO WORK FROM THE SHOP

We make traditional tattoos in Berlin, from small pieces of flash to full backs. Each tattoo is shaped around its placement, the scale of the design and what works on the skin. The work below shows the different approaches of our six artists. Follow the names beneath the images to explore their portfolios and find the direction that fits your idea.

Our Studio

Mauro, Kalo and Matteo opened Spider Web in the summer of 2020. Our traditional tattoo shop in Berlin-Kreuzberg has been at Riemannstraße 21 ever since, built around tattooing, painting and the history of the craft.

The walls are covered in flash, original paintings and artwork from different eras of tattooing. You can spend time looking through them, bring a reference or start with a conversation. Come in, meet us and get a feel for the shop.

CUSTOM TATTOOS
& LARGER PROJECTS

Planning a larger tattoo or a full back? Send us the idea, where you want it and an approximate size, together with any references. If you’re adding to existing tattoos, let us know. We can talk through the design and the space it needs before arranging your appointment.

The size, detail and time involved all affect the price. Tell us what you have in mind so we can discuss the work and give you a quote.

WALK-IN TATTOOS
IN BERLIN-KREUZBERG

You don’t need an appointment to come in with a small tattoo idea. We welcome walk-ins Monday to Saturday, 1 pm to 7 pm, for flash, smaller designs and spontaneous projects.

Our walk-in work also includes fine line, blackwork and illustrative tattoos. Bring a reference or take a look through the designs in the shop. We’ll discuss the size and placement with you and see what’s possible that day.

Availability depends on the tattoo and who’s free. A quick call before you come can help, especially if you’re visiting Berlin with limited time. For a larger project or a particular artist, book ahead.

MEET THE ARTISTS

Each of our six resident artists works from a traditional tattoo foundation and brings their own influences to it. The portfolios give you a better sense of those differences than a style label alone.

Take your time with the work. You can come to us with a specific artist in mind or tell us about your idea if you’re still deciding.

We welcome guest tattooers to Spider Web and take part in conventions, exhibitions and workshops. These exchanges are part of the shop and keep us connected to tattooing beyond our own appointments.

TATTOO PARTY

To celebrate another year of chaos, ink, and hanging out with the best people, we’re throwing our anniversary party. A proper day with our community.

Here is what’s going down on September 12th:

🕸️ The Tattoos: We’ll be tattooing all day from our brand new poster. This time is a one-day-only. Come early, pick something off the poster, let’s make some noise.

🕸️ The Brews: Cold beers flowing all day, courtesy of our friends at Sudden Death Brewery. @suddendeathbrewing

🕸️ The Food: Mamacita Hot Dogs rolling up with proper Venezuelan hot dogs to keep everyone fueled. @mamacitashotdogs

🕸️ The Tank: Our Aperol Spritz tank will be fully operational.

🕸️ The Goodies: A brand new merch drop for the occasion.

You’ll find us at Riemannstraße 21, in Berlin-Kreuzberg’s Bergmannkiez. Come by during opening hours to look at the flash, meet us and talk tattoos.

If you’re travelling to Berlin for a particular artist or a larger piece, get in touch before your visit so we can discuss the project and arrange an appointment. For a spontaneous small tattoo, check our walk-in information or give the shop a call.
